SOMPTING PARISH NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN 2015 -2031

The plan sets out a vision for the future of the Parish

Consultation on the Sompting Neighbourhood Plan is from  Monday 19th February to midnight Sunday 8th April.  Copies of the plan will be available at the Harriet Johnson Centre or for more details click here

The consultation period for the neighbourhood plan takes place 19th March until 8th April 2018 and Sompting Parish Council endorse the content of the neighbourhood plan

The neighbourhood plan has given Sompting direct power to develop a shared vision for our neighbourhood and shape the development and growth of the local area. Sompting will have an input on what new buildings should look like and what infrastructure should be provided, and grant planning permission for the new buildings they want to see go ahead. Neighbourhood planning provides a powerful set of tools for local people to ensure that they get the right types of development for their community where the ambition of the neighbourhood is aligned with the strategic needs and priorities of the wider local area.

Sompting Parish Council are encouraging Sompting Residents to complete the consultation feedback sheet and support their local plan

This information will be used to finalise details of activities and to gather opinions from the surrounding communities around what is being proposed.
